Senior Tax Manager

Seeking a Tax Manager with 7+ years of public accounting tax experience and an active CPA license to lead tax compliance, planning, client advisory, and staff development initiatives within a growth focused CPA firm.

• Review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, corporation, trust, and estate tax returns
• Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies for clients
• Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high net worth individuals
• Lead client meetings and communicate tax strategies in a practical and understandable manner
• Manage client relationships and provide ongoing tax advisory services
• Mentor, coach, and develop staff accountants and senior accountants
• Assist with workflow management, scheduling, and quality control
• Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and practice development
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology, automation, and process improvement
• Stay current on tax legislation and industry developments
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the tax practice

• CPA license required
• 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
• Strong experience in business and individual taxation
• Experience reviewing complex tax returns and tax planning engagements
• Ability to manage and develop client relationships
• Prior experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
• Experience with tax technology platforms and workflow systems preferred
