Senior Tax Manager

Seeking a Tax Manager with 7+ years of public accounting tax experience and an active CPA license to lead tax compliance, planning, client advisory, and staff development initiatives within a growth focused CPA firm.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, corporation, trust, and estate tax returns
- Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies for clients
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and high net worth individuals
- Lead client meetings and communicate tax strategies in a practical and understandable manner
- Manage client relationships and provide ongoing tax advisory services
- Mentor, coach, and develop staff accountants and senior accountants
- Assist with workflow management, scheduling, and quality control
- Collaborate with firm leadership on strategic initiatives and practice development
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency through technology, automation, and process improvement
- Stay current on tax legislation and industry developments
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the tax practice
- CPA license required
- 7+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Strong experience in business and individual taxation
- Experience reviewing complex tax returns and tax planning engagements
- Ability to manage and develop client relationships
- Prior experience supervising, mentoring, and developing staff
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills
- Experience with tax technology platforms and workflow systems preferred
- Advisory mindset with an entrepreneurial approach
- Ability to leverage technology and automation to improve efficiency
