CSR for a Pharmacy Call Center in Cary

Here’s the Scoop: Location: Cary, NC (This job is 100% On-Site) Pay: $20.40 per hour Schedule: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST Training: Training hours will be between 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM EST. After that, you’ll get your regular work schedule. What You’ll Be Doing: Answering inbound calls to help with prescription status, payment scheduling, and other general inquiries. Making sure patients get their medication and billing info sorted out quickly and accurately. Routing calls to the right people if you can’t help directly, to keep things running smoothly. Keeping clear and concise notes so everyone on the team knows what’s going on. Using our management info system to check refill needs, prescription statuses, insurance info, and more. Answering patient questions during refill scheduling and connecting them with our clinical team if needed. Reporting any adverse events or product complaints to keep patients safe. Tackling other tasks as needed, which might vary a bit depending on the team you’re on. What We’re Looking For: High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate degree is a plus. At least 2 years of experience in a busy call center, with some familiarity with medical terminology. Pharmacy experience is a big plus! Great communication skills – both speaking and writing – and a friendly, professional phone manner. Experience with management info systems and Microsoft applications. Attention to detail and a solid understanding of medical office practices and terminology are preferred. Be ready for a typing and customer service test as part of the application process.
