More about our team Our Float RNs are adaptable professionals with diverse expertise. They float to almost all areas of the hospital and must be able to adjust to what's needed quickly. How you'll contribute A Float RN who excels in this role: Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family. Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs. Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient. Provides direction, orientation, training, coaching, and mentoring to staff. Performs or assists with performance evaluations and disciplinary actions. Performs staff responsibilities as needed to fulfill required service levels. Free Parking What we're looking for Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess a degree from an accredited nursing school.
