Human Resources Coordinator

Join Foss Recycling as an HR Coordinator and help our employees and managers succeed. We are looking for an organized, friendly, and dependable HR professional to support employee training and development across our company. This role will focus on new-hire onboarding, employee evaluations, manager training, and employee development. You will work closely with employees and managers at all levels. Your goal will be to make sure employees understand what is expected of them and have the training and support they need to succeed. You will also help create consistent HR practices across all Foss Recycling locations. What You'll Do Coordinate new-hire orientation across the company. Help new employees understand our culture, policies, benefits, safety rules, attendance requirements, and workplace expectations. Work with managers to make sure new hires receive job-specific training. Manage a structured 30-, 60-, and 90-day onboarding process . Follow up with new employees and managers. Identify training needs or concerns early in the onboarding process. Employee Evaluations Coordinate employee evaluations across company locations. Maintain consistent evaluation forms and processes. Track evaluation due dates and follow up with managers. Train managers on how to give useful and effective feedback. Help managers set clear performance goals. Assist with performance improvement plans when needed. Maintain accurate and confidential records. Develop and coordinate training for supervisors and managers. Help managers improve their leadership and communication skills. Provide training on employee accountability, coaching, evaluations, documentation, company policies, attendance, and performance issues. Provide guidance on employee complaints and conflict resolution. Help managers understand basic HR and employment-law requirements. Create a training program for employees who are new to management. Provide ongoing coaching and development for managers. Employee Training & Development Identify training needs throughout the company. Develop and coordinate employee training programs. Track required training and employee participation. Work with managers to create employee development plans. Help identify opportunities for employee growth and advancement. Help ensure HR policies are followed consistently at all locations. Answer HR-related questions from employees and managers. Help managers understand and follow company policies. Identify areas where HR practices need improvement. Assist with employee handbooks, policies, forms, and training materials. Support employee-relations matters and elevate serious concerns when needed. Protect confidential employee information. What We're Looking For Previous experience in Human Resources, employee training, or a related role preferred. Strong organization and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. A professional and approachable personality. Ability to work well with employees and managers at all levels. Strong attention to detail and follow-through. Ability to manage several projects and deadlines at once. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality. Comfortable using Microsoft Office and HR software. Basic knowledge of HR practices and employment laws preferred. Ability to travel to company locations as needed. How Success Will Be Measured Success in this role includes: New employees completing orientation and onboarding. 30-, 60-, and 90-day follow-ups being completed on time. Employee evaluations being completed on schedule. Managers completing required training. Employees completing required training. More consistent HR practices across company locations.
