Equipment Technician II – Intermediate Equipment Technician
Location: Santa Clara, CA
Duration: 6–8 Month Contract

Shift: 6am am - 2:30 pm

Position Summary
Client is seeking an Equipment Technician II to support manufacturing and test equipment in a regulated medical device environment. This role is responsible for preventive maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, calibration, and supporting production uptime while ensuring compliance with GMP and quality standards.

 

Key Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance (PM), calibrations, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing and test equipment.
Troubleshoot electro-mechanical, pneumatic, and mechanical equipment issues.
Restore equipment to operational status while minimizing production downtime.
Assist with installation, qualification, and commissioning of manufacturing equipment.
Document maintenance activities using CMMS.
Read and interpret schematics and technical documentation.
Support manufacturing operations by ensuring equipment availability.
Follow GMP, safety, and documentation requirements.

 

Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent technical education preferred.
2+ years of experience supporting capital equipment in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Experience with electro-mechanical equipment and diagnostic tools.
Familiarity with CMMS systems.
Medical device manufacturing experience preferred.
