Project Manager, Laboratory

Icon Clinical Research

ICON seeks a Laboratory Project Manager to serve as the primary contact for central laboratory services on clinical studies. The role involves protocol management, communication coordination, budget oversight, and stakeholder representation across multiple ICON locations in a hybrid arrangement.

Responsibilities

Serve as primary contact for sponsors regarding central laboratory services and protocol-related inquiries
Coordinate clinical laboratory worksheet completion and enter protocol data into PACS and ICOLIMS systems
Develop communication and escalation plans, maintain study files, and prepare study management reports
Monitor study budgets, sample shipment timelines, and protocol adherence
Represent ICON at sponsor meetings, kick-off sessions, and bid defenses

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in science, business, or related field
Minimum 2 years clinical laboratory, clinical trials, or life sciences account management experience
Minimum 1 year project management experience in clinical trial support services
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
