Counseling and Forensic Services, Inc. (CFS) is seeking an experienced Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) to provide substance abuse counseling services to individuals involved with probation.
This is a contract position providing both individual counseling and group services at Adult Probation offices in Warrenton and/or Leesburg, Virginia .
Compensation: $35/hour
Employment Type: Contract
Hours: Approximately 10–15 hours per week
Locations: Warrenton and/or Leesburg, VA – In Person
Responsibilities
- Conduct substance abuse assessments
- Provide individual substance abuse counseling
- Facilitate substance abuse treatment groups
- Work with clients currently involved with probation
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
- Coordinate professionally with probation staff and CFS as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with agency requirements
Requirements
- Current Certified Substance Abuse Counselor (CSAC) credential
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in the substance abuse field
- Experience conducting individual and group counseling
- Ability to provide in-person services in Warrenton and/or Leesburg
- Must successfully pass a Virginia State Police background check
- Must provide three professional references
- Dependable, professional, and comfortable working with a court/probation-involved population
