Role Description The Benefits Specialist is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Connecticut, United States. This position is responsible for administering employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, retirement, disability, life insurance, and other company‑sponsored plans. Day‑to‑day duties include processing enrollments, changes, and terminations; responding to employee questions; and serving as a liaison between employees and benefit providers. The role supports annual open enrollment activities, assists with benefits communications, and helps ensure compliance with applicable laws and company policies. The Benefits Specialist will also maintain accurate benefits records, generate reports, and collaborate with HR and payroll teams to resolve discrepancies and support continuous process improvement. Qualifications Experience administering employee benefits programs (health, dental, vision, retirement, life, disability) and working with benefits vendors and brokers. Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements (e.g., COBRA, ACA, FMLA, HIPAA, ERISA) and ability to apply them in day‑to‑day operations. Strong analytical and data skills, including proficiency with HRIS/benefits systems, spreadsheets, and reporting tools to manage and reconcile benefits data. Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills to explain benefits clearly, support employees at all levels, and build effective relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. High attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines while handling confidential information with discretion. Prior HR, benefits, or payroll experience in a multi‑site or field‑based workforce environment is preferred. Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Professional HR or benefits certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR, CEBS) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
