Registered Nurse in the Critical Care Float Pool provides direct care to a variety of complex patients, focusing on achieving desired health outcomes. This part‑time position is ideal for those who thrive in a collaborative environment and are dedicated to enhancing patient care. Highlights What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease‑specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Identify patient/family education needs based on age and disease. Develop and coordinate a patient/family‑focused plan of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members. Administer medications utilizing advanced bar‑scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of patient outcomes. Adhere to established protocols and document care accurately. Requirements Education: Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required; BSN in progress preferred. Experience: Six (6) months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program. Licenses & Certifications: Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
