Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Float Pool - P/T with Benefits - Nights

Highlights Location: Hackensack, NJ Facility: Hackensack Meridian Health Schedule: Part-time, Night shift What You'll Do Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation. Perform age and disease-specific assessments independently. Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status. Develop and coordinate a patient/family-centered plan of care. Communicate and implement the plan of care effectively. Provide ongoing communication with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Administer medications using advanced bar-scanning technologies. Evaluate progress toward attainment of outcomes. Initiate interventions related to changes in patient condition. Adhere to established protocols and document care accurately. Requirements Education Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required BSN in progress or willingness to acquire within three years of hire Experience Six months of relevant nursing experience or participation in the Nurse Residency Program Licenses & Certifications Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey BLS/CPR certification required within 60 days of hire National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible About Hackensack Meridian Health Hackensack Meridian Health is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
