Description – What You'll Do

• Conduct a range of routine and advanced clinical laboratory tests, including chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established protocols.
• Interpret results for precision, troubleshoot discrepancies, and carry out regular maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in the collection of specimens and ensure preparation of samples for examination when necessary.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, mentor new staff or interns, and uphold laboratory quality assurance standards.
• Ensure that the workspace remains clean and safe, while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, along with the preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of hire is required.
• Maintain current certification throughout your employment term.
