Labcorp seeks a Specimen Processor for third-shift work in Tucker, Georgia, handling laboratory specimen preparation, routing, labeling, and data entry in a high-throughput clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Unpack, route, identify, label, and pack specimens appropriately
- Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely
- Resolve and document problem specimens
- Meet departmental activity and production goals
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- Ability to accurately identify specimens
- Proficiency with MS Office
- Capable of lifting up to 40 pounds
- Passing standardized color blindness test
