Dental AssistantEuola is hiring Dental Assistants to support the Viera VA Clinic. If you're an experienced Dental Assistant looking for outstanding work-life balance while caring for Veterans, we'd love to hear from you.You'll work alongside an experienced dental team providing high-quality care in a modern federal healthcare setting.Work LocationsOpenings available at:Orlando VA Medical Center (Lake Nona)Lake Baldwin VA ClinicViera VA ClinicDaytona Beach VA ClinicSome travel between locations may be required.ResponsibilitiesAs a Dental Assistant you will:Assist dentists during chairside proceduresPrepare treatment roomsSterilize instrumentsPerform infection control proceduresTake digital dental radiographsPrepare dental materialsMaintain dental equipmentAssist with oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, and implant proceduresTake impressionsFabricate temporary restorationsRemove suturesPerform coronal polishing (where authorized) Educate patients regarding oral hygieneMaintain accurate electronic recordsSchedule patients and coordinate appointmentsEnsure compliance with VA policies and infection prevention standardsMinimum QualificationsGraduate of an accredited Dental Assistant programMinimum one year of chairside experienceDental Radiology CertificationCurrent BLS/CPR CertificationAbility to pass VA credentialing and background investigationExcellent communication skillsPreferred QualificationsVA experienceMilitary healthcare experienceExpanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)Experience with oral surgery and implant proceduresExperience using CPRS or CernerScheduleMonday -Friday8:00 AM – 4:30 PM40 hours per week
