Water Resources Environmental Compliance Inspector I Hourly Pay: $26.49. Monday – Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 40 hours per week. Full Time, Temporary (12-months). Location: East Mesa. What you’ll be doing This position will support environmental compliance and inventory efforts through both office‑based data management and field verification activities. Utilize ArcGIS and Excel to review, categorize, and maintain environmental compliance inventory records Conduct field verification activities in accordance with approved ADEQ methods and procedures Update and maintain accurate records, maps, and documentation Perform inspections and verify utility or environmental asset information in the field Coordinate with internal departments and project teams regarding inventory updates and compliance data Ensure data accuracy and consistency between field observations and system records Follow safety procedures and environmental compliance standards during field activities Perform related duties as required Skills & Experience High school diploma or GED required. Two years of college‑level coursework, including 12 credit hours of environmental, physical, or biological science coursework may substitute for one year of required work experience. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to three years of technical experience in water resources (water or environmental quality, wastewater systems, water/wastewater treatment, industrial pretreatment, water distribution, backflow, stormwater, etc.). Must possess a valid Class D Arizona Driver’s License by hire date.
