You’ll be working full time, Monday through Friday, supporting students through their educational journeys and growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid North Carolina Special Education License
• Required teaching credentials and certifications for Special Education
• Experience with high school students is highly valued
• Background in behavioral interventions or supporting students with behavioral needs is preferred

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s strengths and needs
• Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and faculty to ensure a collaborative approach
• Utilize creative and evidence-based strategies to support student development and engagement
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting instructional methods as needed
• Manage a diverse caseload, maintaining compliance with state and federal requirements
• Support students in both academic and behavioral growth, collaborating with other professionals as necessary
