Trusts & Estates Attorney for AMLAW Firm

We're recruiting for a Trusts & Estate Planning Attorney for the NY office of a growing AMLAW firm. Firm is seeking a Trusts & Estate Planning attorney with 3-5 years of experience . An ideal candidate will have experience with wealth transfer strategies and advice for high-net-worth clients, including drafting wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and other estate planning documents; charitable organization advice; and trust and estate administration and controversies. This position offers an outstanding career opportunity for immediate client contact and hands-on experience in a well-respected trust and estates practice. The ideal candidate will possess a background in estate and gift taxation, as well as the New York SCPA and EPTL; exceptional analytical and writing abilities; outstanding interpersonal skills; and a strong interest in tax and estate planning. LLM in taxation or estate planning is preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Admission to the New York bar
• Ability to interface directly with attorneys and clients
