Salary Range Maximum: USD $161,800.00/Yr. Your Role on the Team The Department of Environmental and Occupational Health and Center for Occupational and Environmental Health seeks an occupational medicine physician with a strong clinical focus to provide care at the COEH Irvine Occupational and Environmental Medicine Clinic. The role includes delivering occupational and environmental medicine services, patient care, and may include training residents in the UCI OEM Residency Program. A voluntary HS Clinical Faculty appointment accompanies the position. The physician will serve as back‑up support when the primary physician is unavailable. Minimum qualifications include three years of occupational medicine clinic experience, board certification in occupational medicine, and eligibility for licensure in California. What It Takes to be Successful Required: Eligible to hold a UC Irvine Physician and Surgeon Medical Group membership Eligible for UCI Medical Staff privileges Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload Ability to delegate, empower staff, and build strong employee morale Preferred: Knowledge of standard hospital policies, procedures and forms Conceptual understanding of electronic medical records (Epic) Special Conditions May require travel for surveillance exams at contracted locations May require varying hours and schedule to accommodate clinic workload Total Rewards The compensation package includes a salary range of USD $75,700.00 to $161,800.00 per year, plus benefits such as medical insurance, sick and vacation time, retirement savings plans, and access to discounts and perks.
