Summary:

**Experience Requirements**- Minimum 1 year of experience required- First-time travelers are accepted- Oncology experience is preferred, but strong PCU experience without oncology is acceptable- Charge nurse experience is not required**Certifications**- BLS required- ACLS required- CHEMO CERT preferred, but not required- ONS/ONCC preferred, but not required**Licensure and Qualifications**- BSN not required- Driver's license required at submission to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles**Skills and Equipment**- RNs occasionally titrate Insulin and Cardizem drips- Common drips/medications include: Chemotherapy, Heparin, Cardizem, Protonix- Familiarity with high flow respiratory equipment- EMR: Epic- IV Pumps: Alaris**Team and Support Staff**- Nursing Assistants- Charge Nurse- PT/OT- RN Case Manager- Social Worker- Educator- Dietitian**Patient Experience and Team Culture**- Focus on hourly rounding and bedside shift report- Seeking nurses with a positive attitude who embrace teamwork and care for a diverse patient population**Shift and Scheduling**- 12-hour shifts from 0630a-7:00p or 0630p-7:00a- Self-scheduling with every other weekend requirement**Additional Notes**- Artificial nails are prohibited in all patient care departments- Must pass a pass/fail open book exam with a 90% during orientation
