About the Role
The Company is seeking a Commercial Banker with a focus on the innovation economy and startup banking. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing and retaining profitable relationships, with a strong emphasis on client acquisition and ongoing engagement. This role requires a customer-focused individual who is adept at building and maintaining positive client relationships, and who can demonstrate the ability to represent the company as a leading bank in the innovation economy. The Commercial Banker will be expected to develop new business, deepen existing relationships, and champion a culture of innovation and a customer-centric mindset. Applicants for this role should have a minimum of 5 years' related experience, a strong understanding of commercial banking products and services, and excellent sales management and business development skills. The role demands a self-directed, proactive, and creative individual with the ability to manage risk appropriately. A passion for innovation, the early-stage startup ecosystem, and entrepreneurship is essential, as is the ability to stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation or strategic partnerships. A Bachelor's degree and formal credit training are preferred, and the ideal candidate will be a strong team player, looking to join a national team of like-minded, passionate innovation economy bankers.
