Industrial Equipment Reliability Mechanic — Rochester, NHA day in the lifeMorning starts with a quick walkthrough of the production floor. You listen for the hints machines give off — a bearing’s hum, a cylinder’s cycle time — then dive into preventive maintenance to keep everything running smoothly. When a line hesitates, you diagnose the root cause fast, whether it’s a mechanical misalignment, a hydraulic leak, or a pneumatic valve issue. You document what you find, what you fix, and what needs attention next.Throughout the day, you coordinate with teammates to boost uptime and reliability, keeping the space organized and safe. Some days, you’ll help install or set up new equipment. On others, you’ll pack a small bag and head out to support customers across the Northeast — typically 2–3 overnights per week — applying the same sharp troubleshooting skills on the road.What you’ll take onExecute scheduled maintenance and perform corrective repairs on industrial machinery and equipment.Diagnose mechanical faults and implement durable, effective fixes.Perform routine inspections to catch issues early and prevent breakdowns.Partner with peers to enhance equipment performance and reliability.Record all work performed with clear, accurate maintenance notes.Follow safety procedures and keep a clean, orderly work area.Assist with installing and setting up new machines and systems.Provide field support across the Northeast, with 2–3 overnights per week.What you bringHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical schooling or certifications are a plus.Hands-on experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic or closely related role.Solid knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics.Ability to interpret manuals, drawings, and schematics.Strong problem-solving ability and meticulous attention to detail.Comfort working both independently and within a team setting.Flexibility to work varied hours, including overtime as needed.If keeping complex machinery at peak performance sounds like your kind of challenge, we’d love to hear from you. #J-18808-Ljbffr Torrey Holistics
