Junior Interior Designer

We're looking for a driven, talented Interior Designer to join our team at our newest showroom in West Palm Beach, FL. If you have a genuine passion for residential interior design, a natural ability to connect with people, and a strong technical background — this role was built for you. You’ll be part of the team that is introducing the ARMAZEM.design concept and the high‑end products from our brands in Palm Beach county and wider Miami metro, cultivating relationships with clients and the trade professionals who are building the most exquisite homes in the country. What You’ll Be Doing Assist in the development of interior design projects, using Computer Assisted Design softwares from design conceptualization to technical drawings. Detailed product planning and specification for production using Armazem’s network of manufacturers, creating detailed shop drawings and renderings. Create design and product presentations, write proposals, invoice clients, and revise list of materials for assigned projects. Coordinate meetings with clients and trade in the showroom and jobsites, creating detailed meeting logs and performing field measurements and evaluations of field conditions. Present proposals, reports, or findings to clients. Communicate relevant project information to appropriate parties, resolve and/or elevate issues in a timely fashion. Compose weekly reports on progress of all projects. Perform other duties as assigned, including administrative and marketing support tasks related to this position. Representing our brands at our showroom, creating a welcoming and knowledgeable experience for visiting clients and trade professionals. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design or a closely related field. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret prints, architectural drawings, technical specifications, and project cost reports. Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD. Proficiency in SketchUp. Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop. Proficiency in metric system. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Comfort with local travel (Miami metro area); valid driver’s license required. Strongly Preferred: Proficiency in Revit and Enscape. Familiarity with product specifications, FF&E, and the contract/commercial design process. Understanding of project management and the procurement cycle in design projects. Proficiency in creating content for Social Media platforms. Why You’ll Want to Be Here Competitive compensation package — base salary plus performance-based bonus. Brands worth representing — we represent iconic brands in the design industry and we take pride in being part of their worldwide network of partners. Health, dental, and vision benefits, and 401(k) retirement plan offered. Professional development support — we invest in your growth, including industry events, factory tours and continuing education. Be part of a collaborative, creative and family-like team that genuinely enjoys what they do. Who Thrives Here This role is built for someone who genuinely loves the craft of design and isn’t afraid of the technical grind behind it. You’ll thrive at Armazem if you get as much satisfaction from a precise shop drawing as from picking the right fabric — someone who sees CAD work, specs, and field measurements as the backbone of great design, not busywork. You’re also someone who lights up around people. Clients building their dream homes and trade professionals on tight timelines both need a designer who listens well, communicates clearly, and builds trust fast — in the showroom, on a jobsite, or in a client presentation. A few traits that predict success here: Detail‑obsessed, not detail‑averse. Precision on specs, measurements, and material lists saves headaches downstream — you don’t cut corners. Comfortable wearing multiple hats. One day you’re rendering a concept, the next you’re writing a proposal, invoicing a client, or hosting a showroom visit. You like the variety. A natural connector. You build rapport easily with high‑end clients and trade partners, equally at home on the showroom floor and behind a screen. Organized and self‑driven. With weekly reporting and multiple active projects, you stay on track without needing constant oversight. Excited by growth. Joining a brand‑new showroom market means shaping relationships and reputation from the ground up — ideal if you want your fingerprints on something from day one. If technical rigor and people skills usually feel like a trade‑off in design roles, and you’ve found a way to enjoy both — this is your kind of team.
