Registered Nurse – Case Management (Travel)

Responsibilities
- Review patient records and monitor progression to assess medical necessity, level of care, and discharge planning.
- Perform utilization management and case management for admitted patients, ensuring care aligns with evidence-based protocols and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with physicians, leadership, and the clinical care team to develop and implement personalized treatment plans and timely discharge.
- Review orders and progress notes; ensure documentation supports UM/CM processes and communicate findings to payers and regulatory bodies as needed.
- Educate patients and families about benefits and care options; contribute to quality improvement and data collection activities.

Requirements
- Active Alaska RN license required at time of submission.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Flu vaccine required.
- 8 years of clinical nursing experience, with at least 3 years in chart review, risk management, or related quality service.
- Case Management certification from a recognized organization (e.g., CCM, NCQA) preferred.
- Ability to work in a hospital setting and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
