What We're Looking For:

• Previous restaurant leadership or management experience
• Passion for hospitality and team development
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and financial controls
• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and performance coaching
• Professional, positive, and results-oriented leadership style
• Food Handler Certification and Alcohol Awareness Certification (or ability to obtain)

The Assistant Restaurant Manager plays a key leadership role in supporting restaurant operations, developing team members, and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position partners with the General Manager to oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations, drive sales, maintain operational standards, and foster a culture of accountability and hospitality.

What You'll Do:

Lead Daily Operations

• Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations.
• Help ensure smooth execution of both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
• Maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, food quality, and operational consistency.
• Assist in driving restaurant performance through strong leadership and execution.

Deliver Exceptional Guest Experiences

• Create memorable guest experiences through active floor leadership and guest engagement.
• Perform table touches and address guest concerns promptly and professionally.
• Lead by example in delivering outstanding hospitality and Over-the-Top Service.
• Ensure every guest leaves with a positive impression of the Tacos & Tequila Cantina brand.

Develop & Coach the Team

• Assist with recruiting, training, coaching, and developing restaurant team members.
• Set clear expectations and hold team members accountable to company standards.
• Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
• Support initiatives that improve retention, performance, and career growth.

Drive Sales & Business Results

• Partner with restaurant leadership to implement strategies that grow sales and profitability.
• Monitor restaurant performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support inventory management, ordering, and operational controls.
• Help ensure labor, food, and operating costs are managed effectively.

Uphold Safety & Brand Standards

• Maintain a clean, safe, sanitary, and accident-free environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and food safety standards.
• Support proper cash handling, inventory controls, and operational processes.
• Serve as a brand ambassador who represents Tacos & Tequila Cantina with professionalism and integrity.
