CNC Lathe Operator

CNC Machinist 1st and 2nd shift

Location: Fenton, MO

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM-3:00 PM & Monday-Thursday 2:15p-12:45a

Pay Rate: $26.00/hr & $27.00/hr

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist with strong setup and operating skills-particularly on Haas equipment. Experience with offset adjustments is required. Knowledge of Doosan 500, DMG 125, lathes, and 5-Axis machining is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

Set up, layout, and operate various CNC lathes and mills

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, job orders, and GD&T

Select, position, and secure tooling and workpieces

Adjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut

Set up fixtures and start machine operations

Inspect machined parts using micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges, etc.

Maintain tight machining tolerances

Keep work area organized and follow safety policies

Perform assembly-related tasks, fitting parts to close tolerances

Conduct product testing and quality checks

Pack, label, and prepare finished goods

Rotate between work cells as needed

Maintain 5S standards

Perform additional duties as assigned

Core Competencies

Ability to assemble manufactured parts

Skilled in using hand and power tools

Strong visual accuracy following standard work instructions

Quality-focused with ability to meet production efficiencies

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent

1+ years of CNC experience preferred

Ability to read and interpret machining drawings

Strong math skills (basic addition/subtraction)

Good hand-eye coordination

Ability to stand for 90% of shift and lift up to 25 lbs
