Physical Therapist (Part-Time) at Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin

Orthopaedic Specialists of Austin Physical Therapy is seeking a Part-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to serve in our Austin, TX outpatient ortho clinic. Position Summary: Provide efficient, quality-oriented physical therapy patient care through an individualized program, including assessment, treatment, planning, implementation, a home exercise program, education, and communication to maximize the patient's progress toward achieving functional goals. Responsibilities and Duties: Knowledge and understanding of all clinic policies/procedures, culture, and organizational structure. Ability to demonstrate superior clinical outcomes, patient customer satisfaction. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Must have the ability to be mentored and receptive to training processes. Conveys a professional image and attitude. Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements. Ability to identify and implement components of the physical therapy process. Identify learning needs and teach patients and families. Ability to communicate and collaborate with a variety of teams and individuals. Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in job situations. Strong organizational, prioritizing, and analytical skills. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Minimum Qualifications: Associates degree in physical therapy as evidenced by a college diploma. Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of Texas. Open to active/pending state board licensures and those sitting for their board exam in the next six months.
