The Construction Estimator plays a crucial role in the heavy civil construction sector by preparing accurate cost estimates and bids to support successful project acquisition and delivery. Utilizing industry-standard tools such as HeavyBid, the estimator analyzes project requirements and develops detailed budgets to ensure competitive and profitable proposals.
Responsibilities
- Perform cost estimation and quantity takeoffs
- Prepare and submit competitive bids
- Develop and manage project budgets
- Review contracts to identify key requirements
- Analyze and price construction materials
- Price change orders
