Part‑Time Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in South Seattle Area APPS Paramedical is one of the largest paramedical companies in the United States, offering nationwide coverage as we complete insurance physicals for people applying for life, health, or disability insurance products. The Western Washington office is looking for quality medical professionals to help us complete these exams in a timely, professional manner on behalf of the insurance company the policy is being applied. Bilingual applicants are encouraged. Position Mobile Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist in South Seattle Area. Job Summary Independent contractors (ICs) are self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, and able to work with minimal supervision while completing quality exams using their medical know‑how. Exams are conducted on a mobile basis at the client’s home or office and may involve blood draws, medical histories, signatures on packets, vital signs, saliva samples, and 12‑lead EKGs. Contractors must follow all compliance and safety policies, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in gathering client information. An exam duration typically ranges from 15 minutes to a little over an hour. Hours Set your own schedule. Exams are offered 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. Many contractors maintain full‑time jobs and use this opportunity to earn additional income. Scheduling assistance is provided so you can focus on medical exams. Job Details Reimbursement: Paid every two weeks by direct deposit for each completed exam. Territory: Set your own territory by selecting the zip codes you will work within. Orientation: A 3–4 hour in‑person orientation verifies skills and familiarizes you with paperwork and the website used by ICs. Equipment: Equipment such as tablets, EKG machines, and centrifuges may be rented. Own equipment will be considered but is not guaranteed. Some items must be purchased: manual BP cuff (Large & Extra Large), stethoscope, tape measure (soft/fabric & metal), printer/paper/ink, scale – 400lb, extra gloves, alcohol swabs, band‑aid/coban, gauze. Qualifications Actively practicing phlebotomy with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Trained in manual blood pressure and pulse collection. Familiarity with tablets/computers. Preferred experience with pediatric and geriatric patients/home health. EKG experience is preferred, but not required. Reliable vehicle with a valid state driver’s license and auto insurance. References will be checked, and a background check is required. Education High school diploma or equivalency.
