APPLICATION AND SELECTION PROCESS

Complete application University and/or Community College transcripts Copy of Child Development Permit Copy of Adult, Child and Pediatric CPR, First Aid and AED Certification Resume Provide contact information for professional references, including current or most recent school-based or child-centered employment. Applicants may be contacted by Human Resources (HR) with requests for outstanding documents or information. Successful completion of the HR Early Childhood Education Interview. Applicants who are deemed ELIGIBLE by HR will be placed on the Early Childhood Education Teacher eligibility list for a period of two calendar years. Eligibility status is neither an offer nor a guarantee of employment in LAUSD. ELIGIBLE candidates may be contacted by Early Education Center or State Preschool Program Principals to interview for current vacancies.
