Daily Responsibilities: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons in a self-contained classroom teaching English/Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, and Catholic Teachings (Religion) Implement instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum aligned with 3rd Grade State Standards and Catholic Catechetical Formation Standards Conduct parent conferences to discuss student progress and development Utilize technology, such as SMART Board and Google Classroom, to enhance learning experiences Required Skills: Experience in small group instruction and differentiated instruction Strong communication skills for parent communication and conferences Knowledge of instructional strategies for 3rd Grade State Standards and Catholic Catechetical Formation Standards Understanding of State Standards and SEL development of 3rd Grade students Background in elementary education or early childhood education Nice to Have Skills: Experience with 3rd Grade Classroom Knowledge of Project Based Learning or Individualized Education Program (IEP) Expertise in classroom management techniques Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position ranges from $48,000 to $60,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
