Retail Store Manager

Position Summary We are seeking a Retail Store Manager with 2+ years of management and customer service experience (retail/sales is a plus). The Store Manager will be accountable for the day-to-day operations of the store, leading, coaching, and developing store employees, recruiting and retaining top talent, maximizing financial goals, and managing customer relations and satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Facilitate a customer‑centric environment by engaging customers in a friendly and professional manner and rapidly addressing customer issues. Monitor and assist in the training of employees so that their development meets the company standards. Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through company‑prescribed channels. Open and close the store, including counting cash drawers and merchandise, and ensuring all procedures are followed to protect assets. Ensure asset protection through inventory control, property safety procedures, documentation, and securing customer loans. Administer store processes and procedures, including inventory, loan management, merchandising, store presentation, store systems, and enterprise‑level reporting. Evaluate the store’s financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal‑setting. Ensure that operating standards meet or exceed company standards. Monitor loan qualification and buying processes to ensure the value and integrity of all loans issued. Complete assigned tasks and training for self‑development as requested. Communicate clearly with employees to ensure they understand the store’s mission and profit objectives. Remain up‑to‑date on product knowledge. Perform other related duties as assigned. Qualifications Minimum 18 years of age. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. Willingness and ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks. Demonstrated ability to effectively supervise others. Ability to work with firearms and obtain firearms certification if required. Ability to work multiple locations and a flexible retail schedule, including weekends and holidays. Computer literate and able to operate POS systems and common office machines. Cash handling experience required. Analytical, detail‑oriented, and strong organizational skills. Excellent work ethic and strong business sense. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must be able to work over 45 hours per week; hours are not guaranteed. Commission and Pay The base pay rate is competitive and ranges from $18.00 to $23.00 per hour, with the potential added to a lucrative monthly bonus. Store Managers also receive a commission based on the store’s monthly gross profit; additional details will be provided during the interview process.
