Work Environment\n

At West Valley Psychotherapy Center, we embrace a hybrid work model with remote work capabilities, facilitating flexibility while maintaining an engaging workplace environment. Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, although some flexibility will be necessary to meet our patients' needs. You will collaborate within a multidisciplinary team, fostering a cooperative approach that prioritizes client care and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate patient needs, utilizing standardized tools to develop individualized treatment plans.

• Deliver a range of evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), and other modalities tailored to patient preferences and clinical indications.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups addressing issues such as coping strategies for anxiety and stress management.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention services and immediate support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients about their mental health conditions and outline available treatment options and community resources.
\n
• Maintain confidential and accurate documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuous professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

• Stay informed on emerging research and advancements in mental health therapies to continuously improve service delivery.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Florida.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to facilitate counseling and collaborative care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
