The Executive VP is responsible for all aspects of community operations and resident experience for AMG. The EVP is a key member of the senior leadership team and provides leadership and coordination in client retention and growth efforts. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure AMG is leveraging appropriate strategies, systems, and resources to support operational excellence and long-term growth Communicate and share relevant information with clients to ensure alignment Oversee customer-facing operations, including, but not limited to, community operations, resident experience, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all deliverables. Work collaboratively with Chief Community Accounting Officer to ensure delivery of best-in-class community financial services. Through collaboration with the VCP and executive team, ensure that companies are leveraging appropriate strategies, systems, resources, and policies to retain existing clients and gain new clients effectively. Drive performance and accountability through key metrics, including, but not limited to, customer satisfaction, customer retention, and new business. Develop and monitor team member performance goals; provide supervision and professional development; recognize and reward high performance. Actively engage in staff recruitment and future development. Communicate and disseminate information within their department to ensure priorities are aligned and satisfactory progress towards AMG's vision is made. Monitor annual budgets and forecasts to ensure they are within the established financial goals. Analyze operations to identify areas needing improvement, reorganization, outsourcing, downsizing, or elimination. Maintain strong industry relationships and strategic alliances with vendors and business partners. Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with our management agreement, Community Association Institute (CAI), federal, state, and local regulations Update job knowledge by remaining aware of new regulations, participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks. Perform other related duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS Qualifications & Experience A minimum of ten years of experience in large-scale and portfolio community association management. A minimum of ten years of experience in a leadership/executive role. Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience. Appropriate state license and industry designations. Leadership Credibility: A highly involved and engaged leader who communicates directly and appropriately throughout the organization and with all external audiences, using fact-based decision-making as a tool to build consensus. Is thoroughly participative and engaged with stakeholders, and a highly valued executive with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate people and get results through others. Influence: Strong influencing skills and competence in working with and representing stakeholders. Proactive in developing relationships with all stakeholders to develop appropriate strategies critical to the organization's success. Visionary: An agile thinker who can be nimble and think fluidly about strategy, rather than getting "process paralyzed." Moves facilely from the big picture to the details and back again without losing focus. Growth and Results Orientation: Sets high personal standards of excellence, continuously looking for ways to improve performance and profitability and drive the growth of existing products and services and new revenue-generating channels and services. Influential in establishing and achieving stretch goals, investing, and taking appropriate risks while evaluating potential returns. People Development: Strong team building and consensus-building skills and a demonstrated ability to reinforce a shared vision and goals. This will include establishing team buy-in and accountability regarding the vision and revenue goals and how to get there. An ability to foster the development of others with a strong eye toward building strength in the organization. Advanced organizational, leadership, and motivational skills; sound business acumen. Strong understanding of financial processes, budgeting, and financial statements. Sound knowledge and interpretation of all CCMC policies, procedures, culture, and philosophy. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical requirements can vary, but generally, they may include: Mobility: Ability to walk the grounds long distances in various weather conditions. Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying supplies or equipment up to 25 pounds. Extended Sitting or Standing: Capability to sit or stand for extended periods during meetings or events. Manual Dexterity: Skills in using technology, including computers and mobile devices. Driving: Ability to operate vehicle to perform certain job functions.
