Job Description:

RN will work 36 hrs/weeknight shift (7p - 7:30a), typically working every 3rd weekend and covering 1 holiday, subject to change based on census and staffing. No on-call required but may be asked to take a rare call day during census/staffing fluctuations.

Responsibilities:

Care for cardiac step-down patients, including heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, and post-op open-heart patients.
May float to other units in times of low volumes or coverage crisis.
Caring for ventilated patients in rare circumstances based on patient needs and staffing requirements.

Requirements:

BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
Minimum of three (3) years cardiac step-down experience.
Experience with Open-Heart and Epic EMR is required.
