Join Our Team as a Mammographer!

Are you passionate about providing top-notch patient care in the field of radiology? Southern Arizona Rad Associates is seeking a dedicated Mammographer to join our team in Sierra Vista, Arizona. As a Mammographer at SARA, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our team of experienced Radiologists and support staff in a collaborative and patient-focused environment.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality at all times
• Follow established imaging protocols and quality control standards
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists and clinical staff
• Maintain equipment and adhere to all MQSA, ACR, and regulatory guidelines
• Provide clear patient instructions and education regarding procedures
• Conducting Dual Energy X-ray Absorptiometry (DEXA) scans when Mammography is not scheduled

Qualifications and Requirements:

• ARRT (M) certification required
• ARRT (R) certification required
• Current state licensure (if applicable)
• CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum [1–2] years of mammography experience preferred
• Experience with DEXA and general radiography preferred
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care and teamwork
• Performing diagnostic imaging procedures
• Utilizing radiation protection measures
• Operating Picture Archiving & Communication System (PACS)
• Performing Digital Mammography 

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience in Bone Density Imaging
• Knowledge of Medical Imaging techniques
• Understanding of Anatomy and Physiology
• Experience working with Geriatric patients
