Base pay range $85,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr Supervising Senior Accountant 3 days in office Our client, a multi billion dollar a year manufacturing company, is looking for a highly analytical and detail-focused Senior Accountant to oversee key financial processes and contribute to strategic decision-making. This role is an opportunity to support financial operations, enhance reporting precision, and drive process improvements within a dynamic environment. In addition, the Senior Accountant will have 3 direct reports. Exciting step up opportunity for a rising Senior Accountant to get supervisory experience. Core Responsibilities: Prepare and review financial reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to industry standards. Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including reconciliations and variance analysis. Evaluate financial trends, providing insights to optimize operations and business planning. Collaborate with auditors and tax specialists to uphold compliance and improve financial strategies. Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing efficiency, automation, and data integrity in accounting workflows. Monitor regulatory obligations, ensuring timely tax filings and audit compliance. Assist in budgeting and forecasting to support long-term financial planning. Maintain strong internal controls to safeguard assets and minimize risk exposure. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; CPA certification is a plus. 4-6 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or auditing. Strong proficiency in financial systems and advanced Excel skills. Ability to interpret complex financial data and present actionable insights. Experience working in evolving financial environments with shifting priorities. Excellent attention to detail while maintaining efficiency in workflows. Strong collaborative skills, with the ability to partner across teams and solve financial challenges effectively.
