Details Acute Care Hospital with 24-hour emergency care, full medical/surgical services, and an attached 71-bed skilled Extended Care facility Level IV trauma center with 25 staffed beds Both inpatient and outpatient Physical Therapy responsibilities Patient ratio of 1:6 Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday schedule with no weekends required No on-call requirements May float within scope of practice to meet facility needs Uses Cerner charting system for hospital documentation and PCC for LTC Requirements Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy experience required Current BLS certification required State License required if applicable; compact license accepted Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted Cerner charting experience preferred Experience with orthopedic, cardiopulmonary, geriatric, and wound care patient populations Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluation, treatment planning, and documentation across acute care and outpatient settings Treats a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions including joint replacements, spinal conditions, and stroke/TBI recovery Utilizes modalities such as e-stim, TENS, ultrasound, traction, and hydrotherapy Any scrub color accepted per facility dress code policy Free housing available Free parking available Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction No RTO permitted during first two weeks due to orientation; RTO limited to one week thereafter Travel pairs accepted American Traveler Job ID P-739446.
