The Orchards at Three Rivers is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. As a Speech Language Pathologist at The Orchards at Three Rivers, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality services to our patients and residents. Our center is committed to delivering exceptional care and creating a supportive environment for our patients to recover and thrive.
About the Role
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will be responsible for:
Evaluating and diagnosing communication and swallowing disorders in patients and residents
Developing and implementing effective treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills
Conducting individual and group therapy sessions to promote patient progress
Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care
Documenting patient progress and maintaining accurate records
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations to assess patients' cognitive and communicative abilities
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' communication and swallowing needs
Conduct therapy sessions to improve communication and swallowing skills, using evidence-based practices and established protocols
Collaborate with occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans
Participate in in-service training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in speech language pathology
