You will be in charge of taking drink orders, recommending beer and wine, preparing traditional and unique mixed drinks, and maintaining the bar area so it is clean and sanitary at all times. Responsibilities: • Take patron orders and deliver a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, liquor, and mixed drinks • Receive payments and settle patron checks and tabs, as well as correctly record daily sales totals in point of sale system • Verify customers' identification age to ensure they are of legal age and provide alcoholic drinks in compliance with federal, state, municipal, and corporate rules and regulations • Purchase needed bar supplies, stock and track all wine, liquor, and beer stocks, and have a full supply of glassware on hand, notifying management of any supply issues or shortages • Perform all restocking and cleaning activities as directed, including opening and closing duties Qualifications: • Proven customer service experience with a strong patron-focused mentality • Possesses strong, organizational and time management skills • We prefer some experience working in the food service industry • Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with customers and coworkers • Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification (GED) Compensation: $9 - $10 hourly
