*Position Overview*

As a Shift Manager, you are responsible for leading daily operations, supporting your team, and ensuring every guest receives outstanding service. This is a *working leadership role*—you will be actively involved in both front and back of house while coaching and developing your team.

*Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team Development*

* Lead shifts by setting clear expectations and delegating responsibilities
* Coach, train, and develop team members to improve performance
* Provide real-time feedback and hold team accountable to standards
* Promote a positive, team-oriented work environment

*Guest Experience*

* Ensure every guest receives fast, friendly, and accurate service
* Step in to resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
* Lead by example in hospitality and service standards

*Operations & Execution*

* Manage daily restaurant operations to meet company standards
* Ensure food quality, safety, and cleanliness are consistently upheld
* Monitor and control labor and product usage to stay within goals
* Follow and enforce all company policies, including cash handling and safety

*Kitchen & Facility Oversight*

* Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked kitchen
* Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures
* Oversee safe use of equipment and proper handling of materials

*Accountability & Improvement*

* Identify opportunities for improvement and implement solutions
* Support company initiatives and roll out new procedures effectively
* Assist in all areas of the restaurant as needed during busy or short-staffed shifts

*What We’re Looking For*

* Previous restaurant and leadership experience required
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
* Dependable with reliable transportation
* Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in a high-temperature kitchen
* Completion of training in all restaurant positions preferred
* Ability to both *take direction and delegate effectively*
