Key Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license required
• Prior experience in a school nursing environment strongly preferred
• Excellent clinical assessment, emergency response, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse populations, including students, faculty, and families
• Organized, reliable, and adaptable, with a caring approach to student care

Main Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, responsive daily health services and assessments to high school students
• Maintain thorough and confidential health records, ensuring compliance with state and district guidelines
• Manage and administer medications, treatments, and first aid, including for chronic conditions
• Respond to urgent medical needs calmly and efficiently
• Provide health education and preventive care information to students
• Collaborate with the school team to support wellness initiatives and address individual student health plans

You'll enjoy a steady weekday schedule, with office hours running MondayFriday from 7:15am2:15pm, totaling 35 hours a week over a 12-week assignment. Compensation for this position ranges from $31.63 to $51.63. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
