- Assist in cardiovascular surgical procedures, primarily vein harvesting and arterial harvesting
- Support surgical teams in the operating room, ensuring safe and efficient workflows
- Collaborate with physicians and staff for patient care pre- and post-surgery
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures and patient updates
- Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and protocols
- Participate in quality improvement and team meetings as needed
Required:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Louisiana
- Experience with endovascular techniques, specifically vein and radial artery harvesting
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment
- Prior cardiovascular surgical experience
- Certification in advanced vascular procedures or related fields
