Prior Authorization Specialist

Insight Global is looking for a Financial Representative to support one of our top healthcare clients, focused on preservice insurance verification and prior authorizations for periop, and inpatient services. This person will work directly in insurance portals, handle complex oncology treatment plans, and partner with payers and patients to resolve authorization issues. This person should be comfortable reaching out to insurances and patients to resolve insurance issues. Handson preauthorization experience, Epic exposure, and comfort in a high activity peri-op and inpatient workload.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of experience in insurance verification & prior authorization
• Experience using/working in payor portals
• Epic experience
• Experience supporting periop and inpatient services or outpatient surgery
• Excellent communication skills and reliability
• Ability to adapt and multi-task in high-paced environment
HS diploma
