Position SummaryResponsible for performing intermediate-level general accounting functions, preparing and analyzing financial information, and assisting with internal management and SEC/regulatory reporting. This position serves as a progression beyond Staff Accountant I with increased analytical responsibility, ownership of assigned accounting areas, and limited review or coordination responsibilities, while continuing to work under the direction of Finance Management.Essential FunctionsPrepare and analyze month-end close activity, including fixed assets, prepaids and accruals, investments, and other assigned accountsAssist in the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements for the Bank, Holding Company, and its SubsidiariesPrepare supporting reports for monthly, quarterly, and annual management and Board of Directors reportingAssist with preparation of SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 10-K, including footnote support and tie-outsAssist with preparation of regulatory filings, including FDIC Call Report schedulesPerform daily, weekly, and monthly general ledger balancing and reconciliationsAssist with ad-hoc requests from management, auditors, and other departmentsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field required1-3 years of accounting experienceBanking and regulatory/SEC reporting experience preferredLicenses and CertificationsCPA preferred All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, age, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, protected veteran status or disability. This job description is not an employment agreement or contract, implied or otherwise.
