Staff Accountant

Our property management team is growing, and we're looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join us full-time. What we offer: • Competitive salary: Starting at $55,000 • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance • 401(k) retirement plan • Supportive, team-focused work environment • Opportunities for professional growth and advancement Responsibilities: • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. • Prepare and maintain financial reports, including month-end and year-end closing activities. • Record, review, and maintain General Ledger entries and adjustments. • Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and established financial procedures. • Collaborate with internal departments to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies in a timely manner. • Utilize Vantaca software to manage property and community association accounting functions. Qualifications: • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 2–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a corporate, property management, or community association environment. • Working knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). • Experience with Vantaca property management software is highly preferred. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting software applications. • Familiarity with AI-powered productivity tools and the ability to leverage them to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounting workflows. Compensation: $55,000 Annually
