Weekend Caregivers Position in Lawrenceville, GA

Position: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Location: GoodLife Care – Atlanta Office (Lawrenceville, GA; Snellville, GA; and/or Grayson, GA areas) Employment type: Full Time / Part Time (Full Time and/or Part Time) Shift: Weekend – 8–9 hour shifts (every weekend). Description We are currently looking for Weekend Caregivers to provide basic care services such as bathing, grooming, meal preparation, feeding, light housekeeping, home safety, emergency handling, infection control, social support, and vital sign monitoring. Caregivers may also provide companionship and sitter services. Qualifications CNA preferred, but not required; minimum 1 year of CNA experience required (state requirement); home health experience preferred. Current CPR certification (state requirement). Updated TB results/chest X-ray. Reliable transportation. Responsibilities Assist patients with activities of daily living (bathing, toileting, dressing, ambulation, range-of-motion exercises) in accordance with care plans. Obtain and record patients' vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure). Track patients' input and output as required. Perform non-sterile and decubitus care per training procedures. Change linens per established schedule and patient needs. Complete all required paperwork and submit to management. Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations. Provide post-mortem care as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Regular sitting, standing, bending, light lifting, and walking. Must read, write, and follow instructions. May need to drive occasionally. Hourly Rate: $11.00 We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
