As an Unarmed Security Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon12:30 PM - 08:30 PMTue12:30 PM - 08:30 PMWed12:30 PM - 08:30 PMThur12:30 PM - 08:30 PMFri12:30 PM - 08:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities at an industrial location. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, loading docks, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site policies. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed. Prepare clear and accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift logs, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and incoming personnel. Minimum Requirements: Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
