POSITION OVERVIEW
As a RN - MedSurg your roles and responsibilities will include:

• Provide professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment.
• Deliver coordinated, safe, compassionate, therapeutic, and evidence-based quality care to patients and families.
• Provide care based on individual physical, emotional, and spiritual needs and appropriate care strategies throughout the lifespan.
• Practice in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act in the state of employment, the American Nurses Association (ANA) Code of Ethics for Nurses, and the ANA scope and standards of practice.
• Follow unit-specific onboarding requirements and standards applicable to the specialty.
• Work Per Diem / On Call with variable shifts or Part Time on the Day shift.

QUALIFICATIONS
Most importantly, you need to be a passionate RN - MedSurg who enjoys his work and is considered to be one of the best within your organization. The ideal RN - MedSurg would be someone with deep experience in many (if not all) of the following:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire.
• ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• PALS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
• 1 year of nursing experience.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred.
