For that reason, our employees are proud of where they work!Ken Garff Ford Greeley is currently looking for a talented General Sales Manager who aligns with our core values and acts with respect, integrity, growth, humility, and teamwork.As a group, we aim to become the most esteemed automotive group by treating people R.I.G.H.T and creating lifetime customers!Here's why you'll want to work here:Great culture and real career growthCompetitive compensation package ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 annuallyOpportunity to work with one of the largest family owned group of dealershipsPaid Time Off and 401k with Company matchMedical, Dental, Vision, Short and Long-term disability, AD&D and Life InsuranceYear-end bonus program for all employees (Garff Giveback)Employee discounts on Vehicle Purchase, Parts, Service and More!Here's what you'll be doing:Achieve forecasted goals and objectives for the department.Maintain CSI above national average.Maintain sales efficiency above 100% of manufacture requirement.Recruit, hire, train, motivate, develop, and hold accountable all members of the sales team.Prepare a monthly and annual budget and plan to meet goals and objectives.Follow company guidelines and protect the legal welfare of the company by:Understand and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect vehicle sales.Process all paperwork required by federal, state, and local laws.Review deal files and documents related to federal, state, and county law for completeness and accuracy.Conduct training meetings for salespeople and sales managers regarding the portion of their job that relates to the legal handling and processing of documents and how that relates to federal, state, local laws and regulations.Work closely with other department managers to ensure cooperation and teamwork throughout the dealership.Attend and participate in weekly manager meetings to review objectives, tracking numbers and safety/compliance issues.Direct Garff Management Routines for the Sales DepartmentCreate schedule for sales department employeesHold daily one-on-one planning and review meetings with each sales manager/team leader to review their current team goals, performance and plans.Develop and organize a training schedule, as directed by the GM, to ensure that each sales associate receives sales training and/or role-playing sessions daily.Guide sales managers and assist them in setting their short and long-term goals and objectives.Assist sales managers in developing programs of improvement for those sales associates who are failing to reach their objectives.Assist customers in the purchase process when necessaryEnsure all sales associates adhere to Company Values and take corrective action when necessaryRecommend to the GM the new and used vehicle inventory to be carried.Teach, train and ensure that the sales team is following up with all leads per company standardsAssist in the development of advertising campaigns and other promotions.Here's what you'll need:3-5 years previous management experience within a dealership environmentProven success in driving result and developing talent within a dealership requiredHigh School diploma, college degree preferredMust be able to provide references upon requestAbility to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper based.
