At Ferrilli we are driven by a profound passion for creating value in higher education through the revolutionary power of technology dedicated to fostering student success Our expertise lies in maximizing the potential of technology on your campus Our approach is comprehensive and holistic guaranteeing the unwavering support youve been seeking in IT services and IT consulting Whether its optimizing your existing technology infrastructure or implementing cutting edge solutions our team is committed to guiding you towards accomplishing your goals POSITION SUMMARY We are currently seeking a Network & Infrastructure Consultant to join our team In this role you will play a crucial part in assessing managing and improving customer on premises infrastructure You will collaborate with clients understand their unique requirements and provide expert guidance and support to ensure the highest level of IT performance and security RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct thorough assessments of customer on premises infrastructure to identify strengths weaknesses and improvement opportunities Design install configure manage and troubleshoot various components of enterprise level IT infrastructure Utilize your expertise in server virtualization including VMWare ESXi and Microsoft Hyper V to create efficient and scalable solutions Manage and troubleshoot SAN storage systems both Fibre Channel and iSCSI ensuring data integrity and high availability Oversee physical servers running Network OS or acting as ESXiHyper V hosts implementing necessary updates and optimizations Configure and maintain network switches routers and wireless devices from various vendors such as Aruba Cisco Extreme HP and Meraki Ensure the security of IT infrastructure by working with firewalls like Fortinet SonicWALL Meraki and Cisco implementing security concepts Create and implement reliable backups and disaster recovery solutions to safeguard critical data and services Collaborate with the team to handle telephony requirements and maintain efficient communication systems Demonstrate a foundational understanding of Active Directory Azure Active Directory and cloud computing platforms like Azure and AWS Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance your skills and knowledge QUALIFICATIONS A minimum of 3 years of hands on experience in designing implementing and managing enterprise level IT infrastructure Strong understanding of infrastructure security concepts and high availability solutions Experience configuring and maintaining network switches routers and wireless devices from various vendors such as Aruba Cisco Extreme HP and Meraki Familiarity with SonicWall Palo Alto firewall and other firewall vendors Foundational knowledge of Hyper V and VMware virtualization technologies Experience with Active Directory and AzureAWS cloud computing is preferred Relevant industry certifications such as CompTIA Network Security Cisco CCNA CCNP Extreme EDSECS or Cisco Meraki Solution Specialist will be considered a plus If you are passionate about driving innovation in higher education through technology and possess the required skills and expertise we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity #J-18808-Ljbffr Ferrilli
