Chemical Handler Position

Primary Objective: We are looking for a Chemical Handler to join the Austin team!

Major Areas of Accountability:

• Netsuite goods receipt, inventory and bin transfers, sales order picks, cycle counts
• Unloading and receipt of chemical deliveries, storage of chemicals, review of certificate of analysis
• Management of chemical inventory, FIFO
• Manage expense inventory
• Temperature recording and monitoring of fridges and freezers
• Hazardous waste handling
• Photo resist cannister changes
• Stocking of fab chemicals 1-2 times per week, requires gowning
• Work within defined technical processes and procedures
• Initiate and drive continuous improvements
• Uphold area upkeep and 5S principals
• Ability to operate heavy machinery including forklift, pallet jack
• Collaborate cross departmentally, escalate as required
• Complete assigned preventative maintenance tasks
• Record keeping, reporting, as required

Shift: D Shift: 6 pm 6 am, Wed-Fri alternating Saturdays. This role offers a 15% differential

Required Qualifications:

• Education: 2 Year Technical/associate's degree in technical discipline or equivalent military training / manufacturing work experience.

• Experience:
• 3-5 years of manufacturing or operations experience
• Skills: mechanical inclination, ability to troubleshoot system equipment, good communication, attentive to detail, collaborative.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• At times bending and or crouching
• A lot of walking, at a quick pace, throughout shift

Desired Qualifications:

• Education: a relevant completed vocational / professional training of at least 3 years
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
